Dr. Alek Zand

Dr. Alek Zand graduated with honors in 2006 from the University Of Southern California School Of Dentistry. He then moved to Irvine, CA, where he successfully practiced dentistry for seven years. In 2012 he started the Sorrento Valley Perfect Smile office in San Diego. In 2017, he added the Rancho Del Oro Dental Group.

He is affiliated with the San Diego County Dental Society, the California Dental Association, as well as the American Dental Association. He is also a participating doctor at the CDA Cares events where he provides dental services to underprivileged patients at no charge.

Dr. Zand is a firm believer in patient awareness and believes that visiting the dentist should be a pain-free experience. He is devoted to educating his patients about their dental conditions and about the approaches to meeting their needs. Likewise, he uses the most advanced equipment and technology to ensure the patient’s comfort and well-being.

 

Dr. Rebecca Lang

Dr. Rebecca Lang began college at age 16 after skipping two grades and graduating from high school with high honors.  She obtained her B.S. degree from the University of Southern Mississippi with a major in Biological Sciences and a minor in Chemistry.  After earning her D.M.D. from University of Mississippi Medical Center, she completed an additional optional year of training in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency.  After residency, Dr. Lang moved to San Diego for the beautiful beaches and perfect weather.  Proud to now be a Californian, she maintains her Southern hospitality and extends this to patients, treating each of them like family members.

Dr. Lang is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Diego County Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry.  She attends various continuing education courses through these organizations to keep up with the constantly evolving field of dentistry and associated dental technologies.  She strives to make every patient feel as comfortable as possible in the chair and educates her patients so that they can make the informed decisions about their treatment.  In her spare time, Dr. Lang enjoys traveling, working out, cooking, and exploring Southern California with her chihuahua, Lindo.
